Are you ready to challenge yourself? The 8 Hour Endurance Challenge is a jumpstart into endurance racing and night racing. You will get to ride in daylight as well as dusk and then of course, dark of night. So grab a buddy or a few buddies – or for those that prefer to throttle solo – we have classes for just about anyone!

We are heading to Western Maryland and are very fortunate to be invited to ride dirt bikes on such a cool piece of land! Make a weekend out of it! Saturday we will have a FUN RIDE and Sunday will be our points paying Cross Country Race! We’re hoping to get the Andersons back for that AMAzing Fireworks Display Saturday Night!

Please be respectful – if you bring it in take it out when you leave this trash free location – its much appreciated.

  • When: Friday, July 2, 2021
  • Registration: ONLINE ONLY – No On Site Registration Available
  • Racer Check In: 2pm – 5pm (Bring Your Helmet and Team)
  • Riders Meeting: 5:30pm
  • Race Time: 6pm – 2am
  • Awards Presentation: July 3rd 11am *If you can’t wait for awards and must leave please ask a friend to pick it up for you or let us know as soon as possible if you want your award… You will have to pick it up at our next race – we do not mail them.

FEES

  • Gate Fee: $15 per person for the entire weekend (5 yrs and under are free) Armbands must be worn at all times and will be checked. Release Form/Waiver must be signed by all who enter the property as well as at rider check in.
  • Camping Fee: Free (contractor/loud generators must be turned off after racing has commenced) Camping is primitive – there are no hookups of any kind.
  • Race Fees: Team $270/ Duo $150/ IronMan/IronWoman $80
  • Moto Tally Transponder $5

RULES

  • You will be permitted to preview the course Friday afternoon – exact time will be determined and posted. Previewing the course is only allowed by foot/bicycle or pedal assist bicycle. Always be aware that our course marshals/ crew may be out on the course.
  • Your Pit Area will be a 10 x 20 space first come first served
  • No alcohol allowed in the pit.
  • No open flames or campfires in the pit.
  • No pit riding.
  • No unaccompanied children or pets in the pit.
  • Never go backwards on the course.
  • If you see an injured rider pay attention the the mile marker and their number and let a Marshal or Official know.
  • Course marshals will be sweeping the course regularly, looking for any issues such as an injured or broken down rider.
  • If you should breakdown or become injured do not leave your bike – let riders know your number so they can relay the information to a course official.
  • No one other than a track marshal should be on the track retrieving a broken down bike.
  • All pits must have a working fire extinguisher in a visible and accessible area.
  • Helmets must be worn as well as Moto – boots, Goggles, Gloves, Long Pants and Long Sleeve Jersey.
  • Teams will be given a RED blinking safety light curtesy of THRIVE which is to be worn on the back of your teams rider.
  • You can race your own bike (back up bike only for parts – engine and frame can not be changed)
  • When choosing a class – you must do so based on your fastest rider.
  • All Teams must have 3-6 people (except duo and ironman/woman)
  • All Team Bikes MUST Remain in their pit when they are not riding.
  • No substitute riders – any team that allows a non-registered rider for that team ride during the event will be disqualified.
  • Any unsportsmanlike actions will not be tolerated – treat others how you would like to be treated on and off the track.
  • Track cutting will not be tolerated
  • There will be a 30 minute protest period after the results are posted.

Directions. This route will handle tractor trailer sized vehicles (recommended)
From Frederick, MD heading west:
Take 70W to 68W
Travel 68W to the Frostburg Exit 34
Take a left onto Route 36 S
Travel through Midland, Lonaconing, and Barton
Take a right onto Sugar Maple Lane, just passed D&D Motors on the right
At the stop sign make a left onto Lower George’s Creek Rd.
Follow for ½ mile, make a right onto Mill Run Road
Follow Mill Run Rd to the top of the mountain (about 4 miles)
After reaching the top and coming down the other side, you will come to a stop sign, make a left onto
Westernport Rd.
Go about 400 yards and make the first right hand turn into the event.
Signs will be posted.
From Morgantown, WV East:
Take 68 E to Frostburg Exit 34
Take a right onto Route 36 S
